Mairéad from Sea Energy visited 4th class recently and discussed all the wonders of the ocean with them. They are looking forward to visiting Cromane beach for their seafari tour!
We would like to wish our very own 6th class girls Gráinne, Niamh and Bronagh and our past pupil Ava O Malley the very best of luck playing with Killarney Celtic U12 Girls Team in The National Finals in Dublin today!
Pupils had a great welcome for our three local Kerry Minors who visited our school last Friday with The New Tom Markham Cup. Beaufort’s very own Jack O Connor, Roan Moriarty and David Mangan gave inspiring words of wisdom to a packed hall.
6th class celebrated their Graduation in style on Tuesday 19th June. Jim from Mia Pizza visited our school in the morning and each pupil made their own pizza. They were delicious! Father Fergal Ryan celebrated mass in our school hall that night followed by refreshments from the Parent’s Association. It was a memorable occasion for the 23 students and their families!
We are very proud of our 3 senior girls who represented our school so well in Milltown GAA grounds for the Primary School skills competition. Well done Aisling, Ava and Gráinne who came 4th in the competition.
4th Class in Cullina NS really know how to throw a party!
To celebrate Europe Day on the 9th of May, 4th class performed music, song and dance inspired by the history, geography and culture of Europe. They also put their percussion instruments talents on display based on a rhythm workshop which they participated in thanks to the profits of their Junior Entrepreneur ‘cool coasters’ idea. Well done to Miss Doyle and her SNA Sarah for all their dedicated work.
